The concept

A landscape,not a building.

UNDER GLASS imagines a nursery and café as a landscape rather than a building.

A monumental greenhouse becomes an ecosystem of elevated rooms, suspended paths, water, vegetation and quiet gathering spaces. Architecture recedes into the garden until it becomes difficult to tell where one ends and the other begins.

The project explores a simple idea: what if a café wasn't somewhere you went to consume, but somewhere you went to disconnect and reconnect?
